Since this series does have potential as the Playstation equivalent of Smash Bros, should a sequel be made?
Personally, if a sequel would be made, it would be nice to see Crash Bandicoot and Spyro as playable characters.

About cuts some characters from rosters like Dante (DmC reboot),Heihachi,Raiden,Big Daddy, both good & evil Cole, Zeus & Isaac. Plus rather have obliviously dream characters like Cloud & Snake that all ready to late they was in smash, maybe chosen characters from Metal Gear & FF7 like Vemon Snake & Zak.
@Lukuy Honestly, cutting any characters from the roster seems a bit much. All of them offered diversity gameplay-wise and they'd be removing pieces that worked just fine. I think the key for any All-Stars sequel would be expanding the roster past the original 24, not cutting out perfectly working cast members.
Sure, as long as Sony improves the sequel.
•Get rid of characters that don't represent the PlayStation brand(Big Daddy and Issac)
•Add more Sony owned characters(Wander, Ico, Patapon, Atoi, etc.)
•Add third party characters that actually promoted PS(Crash, Spyro, Lara, Sora) and not characters that in solely to promote other games(Donte)
•Get rid of the stupid 'Super' mechanic. I liked the idea, but some characters have really good level ones that were better than some characters level twos. It's unbalanced. At least add a stanima option or make it like Smash, similar to what Brawlhalla did.
•Have a story mode. It would be cool if it was about Polygon Man wanting revenge on the other characters who have stolen his title as PS mascots. Also, character inreactions. Because it would be hillarious seeing Kratos talk to Sackboy.
•More stage mashups. GoW and Patapon is a genuis idea, I'd like more of it.
I don't really care if the game is a platform fighter, but I'd die to see all of these PlayStaion characters in another game. It can be a fighting game, an RPG, a hack and slash(but for goodness sake, PLEASE don't make a karting/party game).

Honestly, I'd be pretty saddened to lose the likes of Big Daddy. Advertising or not, his appearance was not only a legitimate surprise, but also led to, in my opinion, one of the most fun characters to use.
Plus, Big Daddy and other aforementioned third-party could still make a great addition to a story mode. The reactions of the cast to the Big Daddy and the Little Sister, as well as the likes of Isaac Clarke reacting to, say, the absurdity of PaRappa and his world, would be worth seeing even if they aren't exactly proper members of the PlayStation family.
Add and change things for a sequel by all means, but subtracting characters doesn't really do any favors. Fans of Smash Bros clamored for their favorites from Melee for well over a decade, so why should an All-Stars II follow suit when it could have all 24 characters and even more?
I know how psasbr get a sequel,by getting a remastered for original
I might as well share some posts where i thought of ideas for a PSAS2:
https://tinyurl.com/ybuxab9c https://tinyurl.com/y3zkt7rpAn idea i had was if they made a single player based game influenced by Kindgom Hearts or Project Zone X where the story is about dimensions mixing up and Specter or someone like that taking over different universes along with other villains and heroes team up to stop them. There's also some ideas like a HUB/Level select menu that represents an island shaped like a PlayStation controller. And minigames meant to represent small crossover ideas like something rhythm based starring Parappa/Lammy, Vib Ribbon and Patapon for example.I was thinking about an Ape Escape spin off that was like this and Spike had to go through different dimensions to get other characters (Who would also be playable) and whatever. And then there's apes with costumes themed after other PS properties messing things up.And also fun character interactions and conversations or maybe even attempts to explore those universes.I feel like some people either limit themselves or forget other aspects on how to make a better PlayStation crossover.Maybe it's because Sony isn't that good with how they handle their own first party franchises but even if they can't do better, i'm sure some of us could in terms of imagining these concepts and all.

Even as I lack much knowledge on Ape Escape as a whole, I do agree Specter would be a great catalyst for the plot. Like him discovering how to hop across the PlayStation universe and then the Professor and Spike gather heroes to aid in stopping him and his team of assembled villains.
They are very great idea maybe, started small like created Change.org or Ipetition to created page to Sony to make a remastered of PlayStation All Stars to PlayStation 4 (or PlayStation 5),reached like one millions of signatures. Then created article submit to gaming or comic book site (you was get pay),created a forum, make a video and promoted on Facebook/Twitter like a group or Twitter pages and writing to Sony developers people who made God of War to make a PlayStation All Stars:Battle Royal Remaster Edition (with new stages & costumes).
