The Advanced R.I.G. is an unlockable costume for Isaac Clarke, and can be unlocked by reaching rank 10 with him.

Origin

The CEC Engineering Suit (commonly called the Engineering Suit) is a suit available for engineers. As with all of the suits in Dead Space 2, the Engineering Suit has thrusters located on the shoulders and legs of the suit and the helmet can fold into several different sections and be stored in the suit.

Colors

• Default: Orange armor and gray blue suit, gray helmet and light blue visor
• Red armor and black suit, red visor
• Dark blue armor and blue suit, blue visor
• White armor and green suit, yellow visor

Trivia

• Alongside Zeus' costume, this one was leaked by Seth Killian via his Twitter.
• The Engineering suit re-occurs in Dead Space 3 after beating the game on any difficultly.
• One of the alternate colors resembles the Scorpion Level Engineering RIG DLC for the first Dead Space.
• The Obsidian Suit appears as an alternate color for the Advanced R.I.G AKA Engineering Suit and was released as downloadable content exclusive for the PlayStation 3. This suit has a fully black armor, and black underneath it, and a dark blue glow from the faceplate of the helmet.
• The final alternate color resembles the Elite Suit DLC available only for the Xbox 360 version of Dead Space.
