Clank Goes Commando (also named Clank Time) is Ratchet & Clank's level 2 super move.
Upon activation, the player takes control of Clank independent of Ratchet, who is armed with a Chronosceptor and a supply of time bombs. Opponents struck with the scpetor will be killed, and any entering a time field will be slowed tremendously, giving Clank a huge advantage with catching his adversaries.

In A Crack in Time, Clank was brought to the Great Clock by the Zoni in hopes of being repaired by Dr. Nefarious, Clank discovers he is the son of Orvus, the creator of the Great Clock, who wants him to take over as caretaker, he recieves the Chronosceptor and time bombs to repair the sections of the Great Clock that were destroyed by the Hypersonic Brainwave Scrambler, each of Clank's sections were puzzle orientated and made use of the time bombs to slow down rotating platforms and enemies.

- In the original game, Clank was only limited to a single timebomb, however in PlayStation All-Stars, he can throw out unlimited timebombs.
- The name of the super is a reference to the second game's subtitle Going Commando,
