Dr. Nefarious[1] is the main antagonist of the Ratchet & Clank franchise and he appears in Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale, as both a Stage Hazard, and an unlockable minion.
Connection with All-Stars[]
Dr. Nefarious attacks the players in the stage San Francisco. He first appears by using the Nefarious Space Station's tractor beam to pull part of San Fransisco into space, he then uses a Hoverboard to get close to the field, afterwards he summons the Hypersonic Brainwave Scrambler and commands it to attack while he gloats in the background, eventually the Scrambler malfunctions and chases Nefarious away.
He also appears as an unlockable Minion as of patch 1.07. He is unlocked after reaching rank 80 with 3 different characters.

Trivia[]
- Dr. Nefarious shares the same voice actor with Andrew Ryan from BioShock. Both were voiced by Armin Shimerman. Also, in Italian, he shares the same voice actor with Radec and Murray.
- Dr. Nefarious, along with Zeus and the Helghan Army, were originally the primary antagonists of the game in early development, but they were scrapped in favor of having Polygon Man as the game's antagonist.
