Ellie is a major character in Dead Space series.
Biography[]
Ellie Langford is one of the survivors of the Necromorph outbreak aboard The Sprawl. Ellie was reluctant to trust anyone and thus relied on herself. She served as a Class IV Heavy Equipment Pilot under the employment of the Concordance Extraction Corporation. Ellie lost one of her eyes during the events of Dead Space 2 to man named Nolan Stross, who went insane from the Markers. Sometime between Dead Space 2 and Dead Space 3 she bought a replacement eye.
Connection with All-Stars[]
Ellie appears in Isaac Clarke's story in arcade mode. In his arcade intro, she and Isaac are preparing a trip to uncover the truth behind the Markers, the artifacts that create the horrific Necromorph monsters, when Isaac is assaulted by a vision of the other All-Stars fighting for the power possessed by Polygon Man. Ellie attempts and fails to dissuade Isaac from joining the battle. When Isaac returns victorious, she is doubtful at his claims of his encounters, though his newly gained powers are undeniable.
