Practice Medium is a group of stages in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale that is original to the game. It is part of the Training Stages of the game: there are no hazards by default, and they are supposed to be the most neutral stages. The stages of this group measure 28 meters. The default layout of this group is a metal grid.

The Practice Medium 1 stage is the average sized variant of the Training Stages without platforms available in the game. This stage is used a lot in the competitive scene.

Practice Medium 2[]

PM2 Layout

Layout of Practice Medium 2

The Practice Medium 2 stage is the average sized variant of the Training Stages using platforms available in the game. The placement of the platforms is optimal for fun, casual games.

Practice Medium 3[]

PM3 Layout

Layout of Practice Medium 3

The Practice Medium 3 stage is the second type of the average sized variant of the Training Stages using platforms. This stage is unused and NOT available in the game, although the assets are all inside. It's possible to enable this stage through modding. The placement of the platforms in this stage is not too bad, making it enjoyable anyway, however the platform at the center may get in the way of jumps. This is probably the worst layout of the Practice Medium group.

Practice Medium 4[]

PM4 Layout

Layout of Practice Medium 4

The Practice Medium 4 stage is the third type of the average sized variant of the Training Stages using platforms. This stage is unused and NOT available in the game, although the assets are all inside. It's possible to enable this stage through modding. The placement of the platforms makes playing in this stage quite fun, with a great layout that doesn't get in the way of the players and that offers various chances for approaching the opponent and combos. There are chances this stage could have been used even in the competitive field of the game.

Trivia[]

  • The Practice Large, Practice Medium and Practice Small stages are probably the only stages that come from the early development of the game, when it was still named Title Fight.
  • Online (when the servers of the game were still available) and with PS Vita Ad Hoc feature, it is possible to play with the unused stages as long the devices have the same mod applied.
