The Sackbots originate from LittleBigPlanet 2 and also appear in Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale as both an item and a minion.
Biography[]
A sackbot is a sackboy-shaped character that you can control, tweak and dress up with any costume. The Sackbots originally appeared in LittleBigPlanet 2, In The Factory Of A Better Tomorrow. A sackbot can be controlled from a Controlinator by placing a Controlinator set to Receive on the sackbot's circuit board and having it receive signals from a Controlinator set to Transmit outside the sackbot. Usually it's used by placing a tag to the sackbot and follower to a piece of invisible hologram with an invisible controllinator. An important thing to note is that Controlinators placed on sackbots' circuit boards have several extra options.
Connection with All-Stars[]
Sackbot appear as an item in All-Stars. They slow down the opponent by hugging him or her and spawning hearts around them. It also causes them to constantly drop AP. One of them also appears as a minion and can be unlocked by reaching Rank 8 with Sackboy.

- In its core game, Sackbots originally electrocuted to death when soaked into the water unless it's set so that it doesn't get electrocuted when in water in LBP3. In PS All-Stars, Sackbots can swim in the water.
- Sackbots are one of the items that can earn kills, aside from Medusa's Gaze. It only takes effect during Sackboy's, Dante's, Raiden's Level 3 Super.
