Stormbringer (also named Thunder Handstand Slash or Two Hand Top) is Raiden's level 1 Super Move. Raiden uses his acrobatic prowess to hold his sword with his feet while he does a handstand, slashing and defeating any opponent within Raiden's reach.
Trivia[]
- This is a reference to how Raiden defeated a group of Gekkos surrounding him in MGS4.
- Stormbringer is also a move that Raiden uses in Metal Gear Rising: Revengance, the move is the same as in Playstation Allstars Battle Royale.
- Stormbringer is also the name of a golden trophy in Metal Gear Rising: Revengace, which is arguably the second hardest trophy that can be achieved, in order to achieve this trophy, you must complete the story mode on Revengance difficulty (the hardest difficulty in the game) with all S Rankings. The first hardest trophy is the platinium trophy of Metal Gear Rising: Revengance itself, obtained after getting every other trophy in the game, with the exception of DLC trophies.
