Trivia[]
- If one were to count Metal Gear Solid as its own series, then Tekken is the oldest franchise represented in All-Stars, with its first game, Tekken, being released in 1994 and later ported to the PlayStation in 1995.
- Hwoarang, Bruce Irvin, Lei Wulong, and Jin Kazama were chosen to be icons, as shown by the strategy guide, but were not in the final product.
- Devil Jin, an alternate form of Jin, does appear as an icon at Rank 7, as well as Jin's gauntlet at Rank 15.
- Tekken is the second series in the game to also appear in the Super Smash Bros. series with a playable character, following Metal Gear.
- Of the two, Tekken is the only one whose playable character in this game, Heihachi, has a somewhat major role in Smash; having a Mii costume and being a background character, whereas Raiden, Metal Gear's representative, only appears as a sticker in Brawl and a spirit in Ultimate.
- Tekken has the least amount of games with an "M" rating from the ESRB out of any third party, at one.
