Classic Dante is the main protagonist of the originalDevil May Cry series, and would be a playable character in Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale.
Biography
LET'S ROCK!
Inhabiting both the mortal and demon worlds, Classic Dante harnesses the super-human powers granted by his demonic heritage to battle the supernatural creatures that threaten humanity. As stylish as he is dangerous, Classic Dante uses a plethora of weapons including his twin hand guns "Ebony and Ivory," as well as his father's sword "Sparda," to utterly destroy his foes.
Gameplay
Dante has been shown to be very combo-heavy, with SuperBot even using a different system of combo attacks to allow him to chain each of his moves into another. All of his blade attacks are assigned to the square button and all gun attacks to the triangle button, and circle controls the devil arm moves.
Super Moves
Level 1 - Doppelganger Style- Creates a copy of Dante that will attack the farthest character away. This last about two minutes before the Doppelganger disappears.
Level 2 - Bangle of Time- Dante activates this and time slows down while Dante moves faster and is able to take out several enemies at once.
Level 3 - Devil Trigger- Dante transforms into his iconic Devil Trigger, which then switches what every Blade he has at the time to become The Sparda. His attacks can now kill.
